Powdery Mildew Treatement

Powdery Mildew Treatment in the Bay Area

This is a disease that is best controlled by not planting susceptible plants in environments that favor powdery mildew. Often this is not a realistic solution as the plant we are dealing with is already established and can’t be moved.  In this case, it is possible to treat the fungus annually with fungicides (organic options available)

Organic Methods: Sulfur, Serenade Max, Sonata, M-Pede, Organic JMS Stylet Oil, and Purespray Green horticultural oil (Credit for this organic pesticide list:  to http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/r302100311.html)
